A Heritage Weekend to Remember

Hosted at the all-new Ten Tenths Motor Club at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the third annual Heritage Invitational brought together collectors, racers and enthusiasts for threedays of automotive excellence. The 2025 edition marked several firsts: the debut of sanctioned racing at Ten Tenths, the inaugural Celebrity Pro Am benefiting Speedway Children’s Charities, and a curated showcase of vehicles spanning over 100 years of design and engineering. The weekend welcomed industry legends and motorsport icons alike, including AlwinSpringer, Patrick Long, Rory and Cam Ingram, Jeff Gordon, Daniel Suárez and Katherine Legge.

Hendrick Motorsports Opens Its Doors for Heritage Kickoff

The weekend began with an exclusive welcome dinner at Hendrick Motorsports, setting the tone for the celebration ahead. Guests previewed the Ten Tenths Motor Club and helped raise over $270,000 for Speedway Children’s Charities through live auctions and Pro Am registrations. The evening included private tours of the Hendrick Heritage Center, where attendees enjoyed rare access to Rick Hendrick’s acclaimed private collection - a tribute to American racing history and craftsmanship.

Vintage Trans Am Cars Inaugurate the Ten Tenths Circuit

Friday delivered historic firsts as more than 25 original Trans Am cars roared onto the 1.1-mile Ten Tenths short course for its inaugural sanctioned race. More than 50 years after their heyday, these authentic racers tackled the technical course to the cheers of fans watching from the Ten Tenths Clubhouse patio. Scott Joy and Jimmy Hay each took home victories, proving that these icons still have stories to tell.

Vintage Trans Am Cars Inaugurate the Ten Tenths Circuit

Friday's excitement reached a crescendo with the first-ever Heritage Invitational Celebrity Pro Am. NASCAR Hall of Famer Jeff Gordon and teammate Ryan Wildrick captured the win in a field stacked with motorsport legends and rising stars. Drivers including Daniel Suárez, Katherine Legge, Patrick Long, Kyle Petty, Scott Pruett, Scott Speed, Max Papis, Boris Said and Tommy Kendall paired with amateur entrants for a series of time trials, all in support of Speedway Children’s Charities. Competition was fierce, but camaraderie prevailed on and off the track.

An Unrivaled Showcase of Automotive Mastery

Saturday’s Concours d’Elegance gathered more than 70 of the world’s most revered automobiles across categories ranging from pre-war racers to cutting-edge supercars. Highlights included Bruce Meyer’s legendary 1979 Kremer Porsche 935 K3, which earned the Chairman’s Choice Sport award, and Fredrick Fischer’s 1957 Ferrari 250 GT Tour de France, crowned with the Chairman’s Choice d’Elegance.
